Hi everyone,

I know this is an old thread, but i'm not able to start a new thread on my own yet and i need your opinions.

I am thinking of purchasing a watch. This will be my first "nice" watch, and I am rather interested in the Raymond Weil Tango with diamonds and rectangular face:

I am not very knowledgeable about watches. I just want something reliable and low maintenance, yet looks nice and dressy.

What are your opinions about this watch? Will it hold up well over the years? This is will be quite a lot of money for me to spend on a watch and i hope it will be able to last and it will not break down easily or anything like that.

What are your opinions about the quality of Raymond Weil (quartz) watches? I'm looking for something with a rectangular face and stainless steel straps (i don't like leather straps) that can be used as a dress watch, preferably below $2000. If i can get diamonds with that budget so much the better, but if not i'm fine too, as long as it will be a reliable watch of good quality.

Thanks alot for helping!

It's a nice watch! I'm also looking at buying a new watch and am stuck between a Raymond Weil and a Cartier. Pricing wise, I think Raymond is a good choice. And I think it's pretty reliable in terms of the quality too. 😊
