I honestly don't think photos do this bag justice. It looks MUCH better in person. The bag still looks good in photos, but in real life it is "WOW". I really think this is a bag that needs to be seen up close and personal for one to really be able to appreciate its beauty and design.

The Novak retails for $1190 before tax. It is difficult to find though because McQueen makes the items in his line in very limited quantites. According to my SA, McQueen is not going to be doing any all leather bags for the Fall 2006 collection. Supposedly the Novak will be done in exotics, tartan, poof balls, and other crazy designs.

It is one kick *ss timeless bag.

I ended up paying $610 for it, which I think was a total steal.:D :D :D
I was ready to pay a lot more, and had a friend watching the auction for the last hour from her house so she could alert me if someone started to outbid me. It was all very tense. ;)
