Remember to use the MK Rain and Stain Repellant. It is important to spray it on before the first use. It's available at MK boutiques and outlets and online from MK. It's very easy to use and is NOT an aerosol. It will help prevent color transfer from jeans.

Yes thank you for the reminder :) I did purchase the rain and stain repellent the same day I got the bag and sprayed it before using the bag for the first time. I need to remember to it some more before using the bag again, I definitely don't want Jean dye on my Hamilton!

I found that if I wash my jeans and put 1 cup vinegar in the rinse water, it helps to set the dye. When you get a new pair, do this 3 times. You shouldn't have trouble. I also did this with a dark wash jean jacket. You can use cold water, just remember the vinegar rinse.

It's heavier than what I'm used to, but not so heavy that it's a pain to carry it around. I've taken her around for a long day of shopping and I wasn't uncomfortable with the weight at any moment.
