Both are gorgeous but I am sorry I personally prefer your first band BUT the second one is very special as it is a gift from your husband and I would not change it either, it too looks beautiful with your E ring.

Yes, to me the sentimental value and the history of a piece means a lot, oftentimes more than the mere look of it. There are very special stories behind all my jewelry and they are memories that way, I am not sure why but jewelry evokes such strong emotions and passion from people, at least from me, I love my designer clothes, bags and shoes but jewelry is something I feel the most attached to, of course that could be why I decided to study gemology and jewelry as a second field.)) Then again, many other professionals would be objective but how can you really do something you do not truly love and understand what others feel towards it?
