Thanks! I read this to DF and he was all smiles! I felt kind of bad not wearing the band he got me with the diamond, but this is just so much more me. Simple (even though the other one was also) but this thinner band looks better IMO. The other was nice, but thick. Too thick for my tiny fingers (size 4). And I'm impressed you all like my fingers. I hate them. I have manly fingers because I pop my knuckles. Such a bad habit. Shoot, you think I have nice hands?? You should see DF's. He got woman fingers. (But freakishly long!) He doesn't pop his, I love em!

Congratulations on getting the setting that you wanted for your engagement ring! I'm like you with the hands...small and short, and slightly larger knuckles from popping them all these years. I used to play piano competitively when I was younger, and for some reason, as part of my warm up, had to pop them. So strange, I know. But, since I got engaged, I haven't popped my knuckles or bitten my fingernails (another nasty habit).
