Woahh I didn’t expect so many of you would be interested in my surgery result! I guess chin implant reviews are pretty rare here😝

Since I only posted my side profile, and some of you asked for a front view here it is

Before surgery, my double chin was very noticeable especially when I talked. I actually considered facial liposuction at first, but after a lot of research and clinic visits, I found out the issue was my chin being too short.

Here’s a picture of me before surgery (sorry, it’s the only one I could find!)

My face used to be just round, but after getting the implant, it looks a lot more slender and balanced. I was hesitant at first because many clinics recommended genioplasty, but I’m glad I went with the implant. My results turned out great with no infections or complications!

Can you guess how many days post op this is?

It’s just one week after surgery lol I was surprised I didn’t have much swelling or bruising. I guess that’s another advantage of the implant. I’ve seen people who had genio with a lot of swelling, but I feel like I just had fillers with a more dramatic change.

I think I recover pretty quickly from surgery, which is a plus. I have to admit, I’m trying to resist the urge to get rhinoplasty next🤣

Thank youuu you're too sweet! 😊 I visited ID, View, Nana, and DA—haha, I went to lots of clinics because I was having trouble making a decision and the recommendations were quite confusing. Some clinics strongly recommended genioplasty, but I'm quite afraid of having bone reduction and I also had a tight budget to consider, so... The reason I chose DA is because the doctor was quite confident. Even when I told him I didn't want to undergo genioplasty he respected my opinion and still promised good results. They were also willing to match my budget, even though they initially quoted me the highest price compared to the other clinics I visited at first
May I know who was your doctor?

Imma update since I just figured out opening my acc again lolol srry srry

It's been over a year now and this is how my side profile looks. In my case the swelling and bruising weren't that bad . I did notice that as time went by my chin became more balanced which is not too long and not too short. took this pics last week from different angles.

it does look a bit different on every angle not in a bad way though I like it lol

Some people have said that my chin looks too long after the surgery but I think that's just due to the angle of the photos I take. My advice is that It's best to discuss everything with your doctor well before deciding to have the surgery as I’ve heard implants are designed differently to match your facial structure. That’s why it's important to choose a place that specializes in this kind of surgery. It's also very important to let the doctor know your desired results too before going in for the surgery which is what I did.
Of course there are both advantages and disadvantages when having plastic surgery so thoroughhhhh consideration is essential!! Especially for surgeries that require implants that some may cause infection if your body rejects them. That was my biggest worry before I decided to go through with the surgery but mine turned out well thankfully lool:biggrin:
