Congratulations, I love it with diamonds & I wish mine had diamonds but maybe one day I'll get mine a little friend although I'm thinking of getting a cuff towards the end of the year.
Your bracelet is so beautiful and looks great on you. Cartier does beautiful engraving, I don't have it on mine but I saw another tpf with hers done and it is beautiful. You could put the date or something funny like "Put me back on". Can you send in a bracelet later to have it engraved.
thank you, dialv! i'm sure cartier's engraving is really nice. the engraving is free of charge at the time of purchase. yes, you can send it later to have it engraved but you might have to pay, unless your SA can "work it out". i would ask your favorite SA if he/she can do it free of charge, especially if they sold you the bracelet in the first place.

Hehe, if you got the ballon bleu . . .just think, you would be DECKED OUT! That watch (with the leather band) is my dream watch. Perhaps one day! I also think the 4 diamonds is the way to go - I've seen the one with sapphires and though it's cute, I think the diamond one is more elegant looking whereas the sapphire one is more fun and whimsical. I also think the plain bracelet is very common, so you got something very special!!

I am glad you saw the ring in person and like it as much as I do! I think we are going for matching ballon bleu SS watches - we can engrave our wedding date on the back vs. rolex where we aren't given that option. I think I will hold off on the love bracelet for now - I tried on a size 16 and 17 and neither felt comfortable on me. I am not used to wearing bangles/stiff bracelets. My fiance also mentioned they looked like handcuffs! *sigh* so I'll have to think about it!It is stunning! I think you made an excellent choice. It looks great on your arm.

that watch on one wrist and the bracelet on the other would be stellar! i can't believe you saw the one with pink sapphires. i thought that was my dream love bracelet but now that i've seen the one with 4 diamonds, i have to agree with you on it being more elegant. i thought the plain one looked really nice too but i agree that the diamonds make it extra special. i also know what you mean on sizing. i'm starting to have doubts about picking size 16. according to cartier, it's the right size for me but it doesn't move very much up my arm. the 17 moved higher up (and it looks more feminine) but i thought that the bracelet will be closer to my wrist most of the time and the 16 felt more comfortable. neither are "comfortable" but i've heard that it takes time to get used to and eventually you don't notice it at all, and i'm willing to do that for how it looks. also, people say that when they take it off, they feel naked and miss it.
matching watches with engravings is a great wedding gift to one another. DH really likes the SS ballon bleu. i'm hoping he will buy it someday so i can get the matching RG one with diamonds, even though it doesn't totally "match" haha! happy engagement and wedding planning. i hope you are floating around, enjoying your special time of being engaged.
