My new BGD diamond studs!

Thanks to the awesome AME for her help in selecting these - I think she is indeed the "diamond whisperer"

They are both 0.535ct I, VS2s from Brian Gavin's signature Blue range. They have almost identical proportions, which appeals to my OCD tendencies.

Right now, these are all I have in terms of photos as they are still en route to Australia. According to FedEx, they landed in Brisbane, AU today but have been routed back to Honolulu? Not quite sure what's happening there, but I hope to have them by next week.

Is the signature blue range strong blue flour? I would really love some D-Fs with a strong blue flour (as long as they aren't greasy/milky). Think they'd be pretty cool.

I know, they were even identical in price per carat! I'm glad I took the platinum option as I think these are definitely a keeper.

They range from medium - very strong blue. One of mine is med-blue and the other is strong-blue. They don't really have many Blues in the D-F range, probably because these are awesome enough already that they don't need the fluorescence effect!

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I just received a call from Customs asking me to arrange for payment so I will definitely get them next week. I'll take modelling shots for sure

They are La Pousette backs. I wanted them to be more secure than butterfly backs but I didn't want screwbacks and I heard good reviews about these.
