My new 24kt. asian pendant

This was my first "asian gold" purchase. I have lots of 18kt and 14kt but 24kt has a very special look. Total weight of chain and pendant is 3 1/2 oz. Anyone else like this gold? Does anyone know the meaning of the symbol on the pendant?

that is a Chinese dragon! Chinese dragon is usually seen as benevolent,not like the European ones. It was a symbol of the Chinese emperors, Good for you.

Gorgeous! I've seen Chinese Zodiac animal charms in 18 and 24 K gold. They are so pretty. I am not Year of the Rat, but I thought of getting a rat one, because I LOOOOVE rats (had a pet rat who was the love of my life). I actually collect rat trinkets and plushes.

What a beautiful pendant.
I have a round pendant with a dragon and phoenix on it and a small pair of hoop earrings. My dad purchased them when he was in the military. They are probably 30 years old now!

I love the deep rich yellow of 24k gold! The dragon looks fierce!

It almost seems to glow to me, and stands out so nicely. I have a 24k hammered yg band to wear with my ering. I luvs it!

Just to add on to what others have said, the Chinese dragon is usually depicted chasing either a fireball or a pearl (yours is doing the latter).
