Off topic, do you know why the smilies on the side of the thread don't work?
I tried several times to add a smily face but when I put the cursor on the face it does not attach.

what a steal congrats!
this post made me call macys all over the states to locate this bag!
i located it at two macys, one in CA and one in VA
the virgina one quoted me full price and the CA one told me its on sale for 139 dollars and they can let me use the 20% off coupon.
can anyone tell me how is this pricing works?

im so so so happy for the poster who found this bag :D
and her purchase inspired me to buy my first designer bag!

I am happy to hear you were able to locate the MK Jet Set Travel Tote in Mandarin!
Its a great color and a great bag for the price, its a steal!
The way the 20% coupon works is you give her the code on the back of the rewards coupon, she puts in the register and you get an extra 20% off the sale price.
Its a great color tote and I just saw someone posted a pic of it in the MK Spring 2014 thread.

i ended up calling random macys all over, some of the SA were helpful and tried to locate the tote for me, but some simply said its discontinued and not available in US any more:(
i kept calling until i found one in Santa Rosa, CA. the SA was very helpful and offered to call me back while she went in back to see if they had it.
but the thing is the sale price was almost double of what you paid :/
i told her that someone i know got the same bag from NY for $70. she told me the best she could do was apply the 20% off if i use my macys card (she didnt let me use my macys giftcard) the total including tax was around $130 which was more than i would have liked to pay as i know you got the same bag for half the price :(
im thinking about contacting macys customer service and asking if they can price match the bag for me
what do you think?:)

I saw this beautiful Mandarin bag at Belk. It wasn't on sale, so I didn't purchase it, but it was the first time I saw the Mandarin in person. Gosh, that's a beautiful color!

So What was the end result of you mandarin tote?
Did you get it? How much?
From what my experience with customer service at Macys, they look into the computer and see the bag was on sale, whatever the price is on computer that what they give you. Remember I purchased mine in the store, not online cause online sales they won't honor the coupon. You have to go to the store and they will take the 20% off coupon off the price of the bag.
At the time I purchased this MK Mandarin tote it was already reduced to clearance.
That is why I only paid 66 plus tax.

I also saw another tote bag that was priced one price one day then the next day it was 60.00 higher.
Macys does have a habit of changing their prices.
