When I bought my first designer bag almost 4 years ago, I told myself my LV Damier Beaubourg is the one and only bag I'll ever need (yeah right.) :p

I've slowly, but steadily, added to my collection after that first LV. I have yet to buy a second LV bag, but I'm highly considering the Speedy Bandoulière 40. Love the size, shape and messenger strap!

Hope you enjoy meeting my humble family! :)

*I just showcased my collection in the main thread, but I just had to pay tribute to the brand that started it all!*

I love your Bal! Is it super soft? I really want one. Maybe a pink one!

Yes tnguyen87, my Bal's leather is really soft and buttery, which is why I super love her  I bought it back in March 2009 and it still has it's shine up to now! The only thing that's changed is the handles have darkened slightly since I can only carry it handheld.

You should go and buy one! You won't regret it. The lighter colors tend to show more wear and fade, but if you don't mind that, go for it!

Great collection. Funny enough I started mine with a LV too. It was a Keepall 45 Macassar last spring. Then I added a Balenciaga City and now think the work might have been the betters choice as the smaller City is quite feminine... still thinking to resell and get a different one.
The Beaubourg looks great, still is one of my favorites, but next LV will be a Mick MM!
Enjoy your collection!!

Thanks kobaka :)

I opted for the Work since I found the City too small, but the Weekender too big for an everyday bag. I'm about 5'9 tall and have a lean frame (I do yoga daily) so the Work was a perfect fit. Go for the Work! But if you want a strap option, check out the Part Time (length of Work, height of City.) :)

Funnily, many people's collections begin with LV! I guess when you think of designer bags, the first thing that pops in people's heads is LV. I chose the Beaubourg because it's a great everyday bag and it's not that mainstream compared to other LV styles. Plus, it's one of the few men's bags I don't find "boring." I love using my Beaubourg for traveling especially!

Each piece is different and unique! Beautiful collection...

Thank you SofieR! I try to pick pieces that are different from each other so bags have different purposes and uses:

LV: "workhorse" bag, my go to everyday shoulder bag.
Bal: handheld bag
BV: work bag, or when I need to look professional
Cambridge: pop color bag, or fun bag
Givenchy: classic black

I really want to add the Goyard next :)
