Do you or anyone who owns this bag have any modelling shots? It's so Gorgeous! Not that I should even be contemplating from ban island but I wonder.. I did buy a couple of NF's & return them as they just were not really me. I wanted a travel bag for which I hoped the NF would be it. My luggage is cream & tan & I can't help thinking that this bag may be a good travel bag that would match in well. I think it would be too large as an everyday bag, as the 25 is way more bigger than I need. But I'm thinking for flights & weekend breaks this might be good for me. I just don't know about the 30 size or how it would suit me?

I saw the dune soft speedy 30 in person. It is BEAUTIFUL! But a little heavy because of the leather interior. The monogram also feels softer in person. Overall, it's a gorgeous, quality bag. Yes, it is slightly big on my 5-5 frame, but I like it. Bigger bags are coming back, hence we see the push for all these soft speedy 30s with crazy price tags.

Because the color is lighter, so the bag visually looks bigger in person compared to the flight mode which I also got to see. You really have to try this one in person. It's very hard to describe or explain because every person is built different and preferences are different too. And because it's "soft", I don't find it boxy.

PS: The color and the material makes it kind of hard to be a true travel bag. Once you touch it, I don't think you want to go through airport security with a light colored bag like this one. It's too precious. :smile:

Hmmm yes I didn't think about having to go through airport security. I would have to take a small towel or something to lay it on ha!

Well there's only one way to find out. You are right! I do need to try on. I have never owned a speedy 30 so have no idea how it would look. I'm only 5ft4 but curvy so maybe I can pull it off. Also I don't normally go for lighter bags but this matches my luggage so well.

I do prefer slouchier bags so maybe it could work in this soft canvas which I have yet to feel & experience.

I would never take mine through security! You are right. It is too precious! I did take my low key hobo through and they scratched the lock....no more LV at the airport for me! Those will have to be packed away in my luggage!

Aww yesss thank you so much. It looks fantastic on you. It really is a beauty! I’ve been so used to smaller bags over the years, which has meant I’ve gotten used to carrying around less with me. Now owning my first speedy 25, I’ve enjoyed throwing things in my bag and not thinking about it. But is the 30 too big? I guess I will never know unless I try it 🤔

Thank you!! I know what you are saying with smaller bags. I used to carry big but then the small bag phase came. I learned to down size what I carry. But now I am starting to buy bigger bags again. I think you should try it😊see how you like it. I have the 25, and the 20 also. The 30 definitely can be used for travel and everyday. It’s so hard trying to decide. Good luck with your decision.

Here's another beauty. The dune reverse NF. It's divine. Arghhh....but with the open top, things will definitely spill out. But if you're on the market for an everyday open tote???? Only if I hadn't already gotten the cherry Murakami NF.....

Oh no. This is why I have a price point in mind on what I carry when I fly. I'll be going on vacation soon, so my white MC speedy 25 will be in the luggage.

There's a Cape Cod cloth (sold at Amazon) you can use to polish the lock. It takes off minor scratches (polishes watches, jewelry,...etc.) but not DEEP scratches. Ask your CA if he/she recommends it. It works on shiny metals, not sure about brushed metal though.

Thank you for the recommendation! I will give them a try! I was super bummed to see the scratch on the lock...I know it won't be perfect forever but seeing that first imperfection on a new bag always stings!

This is the conundrum. It's leather lined, so soft to the touch, but it's on the inside! Then you have to buy an organizer to keep it clean so it means, the majority of time it will be covered up....

Oh, back to bag insert. You have no choice with the organizer, you have to go silk. Zoomoni.
