My impulse purchase, thoughts?

Ditto. I was never a fan, but have not seen them modeled. They look good on you and you can wear casual or dress up. The questions is.. do you think you will wear them?

I like drop earrings, but I'm not personally a fan of the Atlas collection. The roman-numeral designs are so specific, I'm not really sure what other jewelry I'd wear to "go" with them, other than buying a matchy-matchy piece from the same collection, which I think would be overdoing it.... That said, with your long hair you could certainly pull off larger earrings such as these.

OMG, these are absolutely gorgeous  ! I think some of the best purchases are those that are done impulsively and by that I mean, sometimes you just KNOW you have to buy something without further ado. These will go with any ocassion, you can wear them at the office and you can wear them to a premiere. Wonderful buy!

I like them! I do think that they are different than your usual classic style though? But it's nice to switch things up!
+1 was wondering same thing about it going with the rest of your jewelry pieces....but if you love them, I'm sure they will work with many looks!!

I think they're beautiful but sounds like you're second guessing already...if they take a lot of effort as far as straightening your hair and specific outfits you might not get a lot of wear out of them...
Are they gold or ss? Either way, maybe this pair would be more versatile if you wanted something from the Atlas collection...

I actually never considered these earrings but was considering the pendant. I like these a lot now that they are brought to my attention. My main worry though is the weight to my slightly stretched ear lobe since I still haven't figured out what to do about it. Do you consider the necklace or the earrings more versatile?

My hair is normally always blown out, but I've been so busy that I've been leaving it curly/I've been trying to make my hair healthy again. So I was wondering if sleek hair would make the earrings more versatile with simple clothing. I'm still not used to this wild hair.

I am second guessing because I always take time to choose a piece and I haven't bought earrings in such a long time. These are out of my comfort range but I've been wanting some statement pieces. Do you think these drops and the hoops you suggested would be different enough to serve two different functions within my jewelry or they would act as the same?

I think because I've been so strategic with planning over the past 3 years I went a little "stir crazy" and went with a more playful pair of earrings and strayed away from my more classic and sensible taste.

It's very different from my usual style you are correct! I think that might be throwing me off a little but at the same time I think that's what fueled my purchase. I think I would only wear my love bangle, ballon bleu and my dbty with it? To keep the clean look?

I think they are very architecturally interesting. I do think with your hair down they will provide the right amount of flair. They are beautiful and definitely keepers. Enjoy your new earrings.

I liked the architectural element of these earrings as well. Reminded me a bit of the old Fred Gehry collection. Have you decided on your third love bangle or first JUC?

Exactly! And it's the best feeling when you just know it's right!

I LOVE how these look on you. I wouldn't be able to part with them.

Oh yes, keep it paired with modern looking pieces and let them be the star!

I haven't decided yet. But already saving away. Hehe! I did just order something today from VCA. I am being so bad. But it's fun. Hehe! I do think your earrings are a conversation piece also. I don't like that I sometimes don't take chances with jewelry. So it's nice to do something different.

Thanks for making me feel better! I always feel so guilty for impulse purchases!

Hey Lvoe, did you decide to keep them? I saw them in person today, they are sooo pretty! I also saw the hoops I had suggested, and I didn't love those as much irl... I think the dangles will be very versatile!

I agree! I am usually NOT an impulse buyer, but last year, I tried on a ring in David Yurman. Really loved it, but not wanting to be impulsive, told the SA I would think about it and walked out of the store. I got about 50 feet, turned around, walked back into the store and bought the ring! Over a year later, it's one of my most frequently worn pieces, and I get compliments on it all the time. Sometimes, it's good to follow your heart!

OP, I really like these earrings on you, and I think they are one of those pieces that will work as well with a simple black dress as they do with your denim shirt, and as well with curly, natural hair as they do with sleek, blown out hair. It's OK to be out of your comfort zone a bit -- after all, this is Tiffany jewelery we're talking here! It's still very classic. I have an Atlas bangle, and I'm also considering the pendant you're talking about. Now you have me thinking about these earrings as well! :p

Wearing them right now! They have grown on me over the week. I've been so boring with earrings and it's been a welcome change! It does force me to not layer the rest of my jewelry but, alas, I shall survive somehow.
And if not, I have one more splurge I need to pick up this week. It is traditional and basic but I think will serve me well for years to come. And then in all seriousness i really will be banned. I've caught the custom boot/shoe bug and my leather accessories are my next project!

LOVE your new studs.... Completely swoon worthy. Talk about conversation starters!
Been meaning to reply. I like the ones you initially purchased.

Thank you! They are really fun to wear.

Which ring did you end up with?? Definitely try these earrings, we sound like we have some similarities in taste! Very surprised how low key these earrings look with casual clothes. I'm very glad to have stepped out my comfort zone with a piece that didn't break the bank and yet is light and comfortable on my ears. I already barely notice them which is a must for me!

It's funny because I was nervous about these when I first wore them in front of my boyfriend and he insisted for me to keep them. Scored a point in my book!
