My graduation & birthday reveals!

Thank you so much everyone for the congratulations, the birthday wishes and the lovely comments!!

I'm going to my practice walk in a little bit (I graduated in Communication Studies, pandapharm) and picking my grandpa up to bring with me so he can walk some of the trails on campus while he waits for me, so then I can take him shopping and out to the movies. I'm wearing the garnet pendant today, I don't want to wait to break it in since my grandpa lives a couple of states away, this way he can see me wearing & enjoying it until he leaves to go back home on Monday.

The weather here has been horrible, but it's stopped raining long enough for the sun to come out and allow me to take some outside photos. I apologize for my swamp-like backyard, the way our house sits, we're on the bottom of a hill, so all of the rain water gathers in our backyard to make it look like I live in Flordia

First up are better the photos of the dbty necklace my parents gave me for my graduation, and the pandora graduation cap my grandfather gave me.

Next are better photos of the necklace my grandfather gave me for my graduation, and the costume earrings he purchased for me for my birthday. I was going to delete the second photo, but kept it so you can see the setting of the pendant.

Next up is my new Tissot watch, given to me by my grandmother (with the help of my Aunt). It's a bracelet style watch, which I've never owned before by I rather like it. It also came with an addition red leather strap, so I can bring it in and have it changed if I wanted to (not pictured). Also pictured is a diamond ring that was my great-grandmothers. My Aunt (who helped pick out my watch) gave it to me and said I was old enough to not loose it & appreciate it. It needs to be resized, I doubt I'd ever wear it as a pinky ring (as my Aunt did) and I highly doubt it's of any monetary value, but my Aunt said she thought it was my great-grandmother's engagement ring, so it's sentimental to me, since I barely knew my great-grandmother. However, the ring isn't a graduation or a birthday gift, since my Aunt said her gift to me is to take me shopping in Hermes soon, so I can pick out a scarf! (Sorry I can't get a very good photo of the actual diamond, it's very hard to see in the setting!)

In my move, I've misplaced my necklace my boyfriend gave me for my birthday. I should find it by the time my graduation gift gets here (a freshwater pearl bracelet he's ordered for me from Etsy).
