Those are beautiful! I am in the same situation as you were where I was once "pearl ignorant" and after having read the threads on TPF about pearls, have been noticing the flaws in my own set. After seeing your new ones and that amazing price I'm definately toying with the idea of getting my own as well. The only problem is that my mother in law got me my pearls and they have a little bit of sentimental value to them.
