A few weeks ago, I was in London and Paris and looked everywhere for the Chloe Nile bags. My first choice was the small size and my second choice was the Minaudiere. They had them for viewing but were all sold out everywhere (Selfridges, Harrods, Chloe). The weird thing was that I didn't see a single person actually carrying one! Chloe Montaigne said that they have a waiting list of at least 100 people for the minaudiere and the small. On my very last day in Paris, I went to Galeries Lafayette and was shocked when the Chloe SA said that they had only one Small Chloe Nile, but that it was a "limited edition runway" style. She took it out and it was so beautiful! Really like a work of art. So even though it was substantially more expensive than the regular small Nile (1690 Euros vs 1190 Euros), I bought it anyway! I love it and it's perfect for all of my essentials. My only complaint is that the magnetic closure is VERY secure and is a little difficult to open. I'm afraid I'm going to bend the leather flap. I emailed Chloe about it and they said that it's meant to be secure. Has anyone ever had an issue with their magnetic closure? Is there a way to weaken the magnet?
