Love this gorgeous neutral! Do you mind sharing what you can fit into it? TIA!
I'll try to take some pics after work tomorrow. It fits less than I'd hoped, but I guess any bag with compartments will have the same issue. The compartment cuts the width in half, so you can't fit wide things in it and hope to close the bag. I might just need more practice packing things in :)

Awww..... I'm sad to hear that, though I half anticipated that. It's a beautiful bag but if it can't fit much, then I guess it's not for me then.

Got some pics today:

Pic 1 is the bag stuffed with whatever I could fit into it.
Pic 2 is all the stuff I could put into it. (my handknit shawl, file folder, change purse, Kobo Mini, iPod, charging cable, spiral bound notebook, keys, small umbrella, gum, hard sunglasses case, travel size kleenex, small wristlet, small cosmetics case, paperback novel)
Pic 3 is all the same stuff, this time in an Aritzia shopping bag
Last 2 pics are to show the sizes of the shopping bag and the Borough.

So verdict is that you can actually fit a lot in the bag, but it's impossible to close it when it has a lot of stuff. Also, the stuff has to be small. No large tupperware containers, which I attempted to do a few days ago. The same food containers would easily fit in the shopping bag of the same depth and width. Hope this helps!

Wow! Thank you for all the pics and its awfully sweet of you to include comparison pictures as all. It surely looks like it can fit quite a lot. I'm amazed!

I have a regular Borough with zippers, which I love. The soft B., while having beautiful leather, definitely holds less than the regular B. The middle compartment on the soft B, is much smaller and the metallic pieces are not strong enough, and the bag pops open. I thoroughly checked out the soft B. this week, and if the metallic parts don't stay closed, then this bag looks like an open tote. For these reasons I will choose another regular Borough with zippers for
my next bag. But I hope that your soft B. will work for you and that you love it! :)

Now that's what I cll a comparison! Excellent job! I just ordered a soft Borough in tan as I don't really carry a lot and nothing big usually. At first it was hard to believe it carries less than the zippered Borough but I definitely see how and will soon have them both. I am just looking for a different style. I do love the two tone grey and purplish one.

Love your new bag! I really like the color and the interesting balance in this bag's design- it looks like a slouchy yet structured bag, and how often do those elements coexist harmoniously? Not often, but this bag seems to manage it. Thanks for posting!

P.s. I read that Patty Hearst autobiography and it made for some good (if harrowing) reading.

I just picked up this same bag yesterday in the same color (earth). It does indeed have a speckled appearance, which I love. I think it gives it a really unique finish and reminds me of an eggshell also. This is quickly becoming my favorite bag I own!

Yep, the one I saw in person when my store had the pilot version of this bag looked almost like natural stone...definitely had speckles and variations in color.
