That's how I would do it also. I like smaller side stones than most I think, I want that center stone to be the focus.thankyou again everyone !!!
ame, yes, i too am really loving the individual tiffany style heads... the sidestones are also set a teeny bit lower away from the center stone, so that the center stone becomes more prominent and more defined.

The pointed ends of the pears, together with the knife edge band, had been consistently hurting my adjacent fingers ever since i had put it on. Moreover, the E-ring just did not match my eternity wedding band correctly, causing a huge gap in between. With my fiance's consent, my e-ring was reset! We were able to pick it up right before we went for our xmas holiday!
The new setting includes a rounded band, 6-prong crown setting on the center stone, and two round sidestones.
