all in all, you have to be happy with your ring because you will be wearing it for years and years! so i'm glad that your fiancé didn't get upset that you changed it.

Thanks, I wanted to make sure I loved wearing my ring because I didn't want to constantly upgrade. Now I don't want to ever change it. I've seen bigger diamonds but, that doesn't make me want to change. I think it's the perfect size for me and love everything about my ring.

I'm glad my fiance didn't get upset too. He still thinks that the plain setting is better because he's into more simpler styles but, he said it was up to me since I'd be the one wearing it. He saw how much I wanted the new setting so he gave me the OK to change it out.

I'm thinking because it makes the diamond the main focus of the ring but, like what happened with my first setting, it was so high that that's all you saw when you looked at it. I didn't like looking at the profile of my old setting.
