I love the Astor, sort of bag twins, I have it in red. It's gorgeous in luggage though!! And the one below it is so gorgeous, I've never seen that one IRL - beauty!!! MK does the best hardware - I just love it on this bag!!

I bought my first Michael Kors 2 years ago, an Astor Hobo in Luggage. I have received so many compliments on this bag!
My next purchase (about 9-12 months after the first bag above) was the MK Gansevoort Rouched Tote, black leather with gold hardware. This is a workhorse of a bag!
I am in love with this bag, it's just gorgeous!! Wow!! The Colette in gunmetal is gorgeous too!!!!!!!!!!
Now, here's where it gets out of control! The following bags have all been purchased since November 2010!!!! I can say that every MK bag I have was purchased on sale!

Purchased this Colette shoulderbag for myself for Christmas. Love the Gunmetal leather as it matches everything!

The leather really does look buttery soft on the Erin. Another bag I've never seen IRL - it's GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Nordstrom Rack over the holiday also, haven't been there in quite a while. Lo and behold, they had several MK bags! I saw this Layton bag and thought the color was beautiful and something different besides blacks and browns. Here's my Layton bag in Oassis!
While I was waiting in line (and a very long line it was), I was checking out the wallets and found these two Rebecca Minkoff pouches! I've always wanted an RM pouch. So I brought home the Splurge pouch and the Trustfund pouch.

First, I bought a Hamilton when they first came out, but we weren't aware that they were supposed to slouch and I was really worried about it, so I returned it. Well, I could never get that bag out of my head! So I went for the large Hamilton in Luggage! I really loved the black w/silver hardware, but I think Luggage is such a neutral color and will especially be great for spring/summer too!

Someone posted in the MK deals thread that the Erin satchel was on sale at Macys.com. So of course, I had to check it out, it was sold out on line. I've seen this bag IRL and the leather is so, so soft! I called one of my local Macys but they only had Barley and Yellow (I was looking for black). The next day I was at the other local Macys and they had it in Black! It was ringing up full price and I asked why because it was on sale at Macys.com. So I showed her the picutre and price via my iPhone (gotta love walking around with the internet in your pocket!) and she matched the price! I also had $60 in gift cards so I brought it home for around $170 out of pocket! I haven't even tried my stuff in it yet, I'm hopeing it will work out just fine. Oh yeah, after I got home, I realized that mine has a zip closure! Bonus!!!!
I have a question for you all--does your Macys take the extra 20% off coupon for MKors? It specifically says on the back that it excludes MKors--my SA took the 20% off the other day and that's the only reason I could justify buying 2 bags within one week--but then I had them refuse the 20% off on something so simple as baby clothes--go figure? So what gives--is it just up to the individual Macys or what?
I have found Macy's to be very inconsistent. Sometimes they take my coupons for supposedly excluded brands and at other times they won't. I bought MK clothes a couple of weeks ago using the coupons without a problem. I have also found that sometimes the store won't take my coupon but it works on the same item online. I find it extremely annoying.
I think it depends on the person ringing you up! One time, someone told me "No" to the discount, but all other times, they promote the additional discount while I am browsing!

I was able to use the 20% coupon on the studded astor (dark brown one), but another time they said MK was excluded. I agree, they are not very consistent. It also depends on which Macy's I'm at. The one at Somerset is much more willing to match prices, etc. than the other Macys.
Crissy11: The Erin tote is extremely soft leather. It takes on a completely different shape once your stuff is in it. Kind of stretches it out into a tote shape instead of a round, fatter shape. I'm waiting for my purse organizer from QVC to see if that will help, if not, she may go back.
