Thanks everyone! :D

I'm wearing the necklace with a blouse today that frames the diamond perfectly... very happy with the size I chose (even those as I said earlier I'm already thinking about a smaller one :graucho:)

Ummm, why is there not a pic attached showcasing this blouse framing the diamond perfectly?? Share! :)
It is absolutely stunning and I too love the length! Wear it in good health :)

End of the day pic... I don't take my camera to work! :p

Front tie on my blouse looked much better early in the morning.

I got the chain length in 18". I was torn between the 16" and 18" but chose 18" in the end. I'm a little taller with a longer-ish neck so I think it looks fine...I would only shorten the chain if it completely eliminates the pendant flipping/shifting problems (it flips sometimes but not too much)

So so pretty. When I was looking about 10 months ago I thought on the blue Nile website they were only doing larger than a certain size diamond for the dbty. I can't remember if it was .5 or 1 carat so I stopped my research and went with a Tiffany .40 carat. Spent way more than I should have, but I love the dbty style. So fantastic you could get the blue Nile.
Much more bang for your buck. It looks beautiful. And yes it rides up so getting the 18 I think was smart. Mine is 17. And yes it gets off center, but mine doesn't flip. The only thing about the darn thing is that I am constantly looking in the mirror when I wear it. It always looks fine, but I seem to always need to be sure, but I love it. Congrats. Do you mind sharing what you paid?

Not at all, I paid just over $1,500 including sales tax. I'm in Canada and I think prices are slightly higher for us, so if I were to get this through the US site I think it would have been closer to $1,400.

I thought my pendant was flipping but after wearing it for a few days I've found that it really doesn't. And for the most part if I center it in the morning, it stays pretty centered throughout the day... if I bend forward a little and let it dangle for a moment, it seems to fix itself.

I've read about the carat weight restrictions in old threads... looking at the setting, it now says that the carat weight range is 0.16 ct to 1.00 ct for this setting. Which is perfect, because I want another smaller one. It might be better if they set the maximum to a little higher for the ladies who want this setting and a larger diamond, but I do believe this necklace looks better with a smaller diamond.

Now if they'd only do the setting in rose gold too!!

Love the 18 inch length on you too, looks perfect! I always mess with necklaces that are shorter than that. I guess I don't like things near my neck. LOL A smaller one will be really cute and feminine too!
