Fair enough, but you cannot patent a checkerboard pattern think the game took it first lol:laugh:
I personally don't care myself. I will never buy an LV and I love durability of MK PVC. In terms of either style, I prefer the brown and quite like the grayson style.

However, in terms of what style created the most visceral reaction among other individuals... I would venture to say this print got more of a reaction than the simple monogram MK does.

Almost every bag line whether high end or low end has a bag that has a similar shape, style, or print like someone else. You cant copyright those things. I say as long as its not a knockoff or replica, to each its own. Minkoff makes a quilted bag in the same style as chanel, MK does a checkerboard like my neverfulls- who cares? I say buy what you love and carry it with pride. If I saw you with your checkerboard MK signature bag and I was carrying one of my neverfulls I wouldn't think you were copying or carrying a lesser than bag. That's another form of "bagshaming" and I think its rediculous behavior.

I admit to having no experience with LV i have no desire to buy a purse at that price point, i won't say never but i highly doubt it lol

I would bet that print you mentioned caused the most controversy i have read on the Celine forum too that said unless the design/style etc is a patented item there truly is no leg to stand upon and one always has the option to not purchase. ;)
