Two persons were attending me at that time. One was Sales Associate another one was Country Trainer...i just couldn't accept the Country Trainer could speak such a word...i was at a luxury store, they can just simply put the blame on the customers. Just ranting ya :(

That's ridiculous, I wouldn't pay for that repair! I'd just keep going to different salespeople or stores until someone agreed to fix it gratis.

I have three branches here for the whole country, i already been to one of it. Will definitely fight for a complimentary hook replacement! :) I just called their customer service hotline, the person told me at the store there, it was only an initial assessment, once my whole strap being transported to the repair centre. From there, repair specialists would redo the assessment again. Thats all i got to know from the call.

Totally agree you should not have to pay for that. It was clearly defective. I mean that just does not even happen to a vintage handbag. Tarnish yes, but broken like that is ridiculous.
Yes, i could accept if tarnished, because i do hv zips that tarnished as time passed by. But broken? That so called Country Trainer at the store said to me..."it was totally fine right when you bought this bag, you have examined on it right?"

I really speechless... :(

You actually lost the entire rivet on the U shaped clasp so it is more likely that it was not machined correctly during manufacturing and snapped off. The trainer should see that the condition of the bag would not warrant a broken clasp like that. I guess common sense is not all that common. Bad customer service. Perhaps this Country Trainer requires re-training and treat customers with more respect.
