Just hearing you speak about the Blue Iris we can all tell it made your heart sing! H makes such beautiful colours that you can go into the store with an exact idea of the colours you want but when showed something else it's easy to fall in love! I love H blues and I personally think that a lot of blues are neutral. I have a K32 in bleu nuit and it goes with everything and I find it makes my outfit looks a bit more put together than a black bag (probably as I wear a lot of black and the blue is just different enough to stand out). Don't second guess yourself as it sounds like it was love at first sight! And I think your SA was completely right in saying that neutrals will always be around... You know what to get next time

Whether it's your first or your 10th, I think a B should always make your heart soar when you see it. Sounds like you had that experience with this birdie so I think it's the right choice (and blue iris is GORGEOUS!). Personal opinion as well but I agree with @QuelleFromage that B30 is the smallest I would go; if you wanted something small and dressy, there are plenty of other H bags that fit that criteria. Something about not being able to put a B25 over your arm kind of takes away from the original spirit and essence of the Birkin. I hope you enjoy your bag!!
