It's very unique! I'm intrigued with how much the mini can fit.

I intend to use it as I would a clutch or when I just need the basics. It’s one square open area and in my opinion this makes it’s capacity deceptively bigger than you think. Its by no means a day bag but you can fit more than a clutch. To give you an idea I have a liner I had made for my mini Alexa and it fits inside with a fair amount of room to spare all round. The long strap is a nice size although I’ll rarely use it. I like top handle plus I have two of the original Bay Shoulders (belted now) if I want hands free. My only concern is the material, Econyl I think it’s called. I know where I am with leather so new territory. Fingers crossed x

Thank you for the in depth review. I did try on the small Iris and find the small to be rather big for what I carry. I didn't get to see the mini in the boutique though. I did see and try on the mini Alexa and it is a good size for me. Very happy to hear that the mini Iris is comparable. Will call the boutique to check whether there are any for me to try.
