Wow. Just wow. Tous est magnifique. Incroyable. Spectacular.
It took me three days to get through this thread. . . I usually just occasionally lurk in the Hermès section, as H is a bit, shall we say, luxe, for my current lifestyle of yoga pants and chicken nuggets and small, wild boys, but this thread was WELL worth the time.
I am usually a fan of the slouchier, more bohemian bags (I have recently begun lusting after the Lindy, my first true Hermès *crush*), but I must confess that this thread has really helped me understand the fascination with Birkins.
Angel, your collection is museum-worthy. The saturated colors! The gorgous skins! Really, I now see the Birkin as a work of art, not *just* a handbag. I must congratulate you, especially, on those emerald greens. As a Scots-Irish redhead, I have a special affinity for rich, emerald greens, and those two bags, the Birkin and the Kelly, nearly made me destroy my computer keyboad with excess salivation.
I'll certainly be bookmarking this thread and hoping to see more. Thank you so much,
Angel, for sharing all of this-- not just the bags, but so many sweet little vignettes and stories and ensembles to go along with them. Marvelous! No wonder you have such a following!
And now I am off to stuff some money under the mattress for future Hermès. I think I might just be hooked.
