What a great thread @EpiFanatic šŸ˜

I like to rotate my pieces as much as possible in a week so I get to wear each piece I own at least once! But, there are some pieces that I wear multiple times in a week like my perlee bracelets

and my VCA rings especially my WMOP and pave butterfly ring ā™„ļø I am kinda obsessed with this ring!

You know how I love all of your pieces and how you style them together so effortlessly and beautifully!! It would be an honor to live as your jewelry pieces the way you wear them

Instead of simply collecting for the sake of it I love that you curate all your pieces to wear them together in the most chic way possible

Thank you! The hammered RG is so carefree, but so is the WG and I love wearing them together. I hope one day to be able to SO in other metals as well.

To be honest if you are not hard on your jewelry and don’t do strenuous activities, the necklace should be quite carefree and it is safer on your neck than constantly taking them on an off since it will crack if you drop it on the floor. The only times I take mine off is for the pool or spa. I’ve worn mine through hot humid weather and also through snow climate, showered and slept in them since October 2023 and so far so good—even with the baby pulling on it and toying with it. I use soap around the necklace (just lift it up and scrub then immediately rinse off) and also apply my creams etc underneath.

The YG hammered is a great staple and definitely much more carefree than stone pieces!
Thank you! I'm so glad to hear your pendant has held up so well with daily wear. I love it and really didn't want to harm it. It goes well with everything, so it was such a good travel choice since I don't like to change jewelry when traveling. I will be more brave in the future!

As you guys can probably see from my copious action posts, my most-worn pieces are all my VCA pieces - the Vintage Alhambra 10-motif hammered YG necklace, the Vintage Alhambra 5-motif YG Onyx bracelet, and the Sweet Alhambra 6-motif hammered RG bracelet. I haven't taken any of them off since I got them. I only play around with the 10-motifs length - usually on weekdays I wear it high so that it is shown with my shirt collars, and a variety of extenders for the weekend.

I used to stack the Onyx and RG bracelets together, but I decided I prefer seeing the 5-motif on its own (until I get a hammered YG 5 motif to add to it), so I moved the Sweet RG hammered 6-motif to my other hand to stack with my other bracelets. Given the size of the motifs, it lends itself well to stacking with other bracelets. That also means I get to have VCA on both wrists! LOL!

ETA: Just realised this means that I have one piece that is now rarely worn, which is the single Vintage RG hammered pendant. I mooted selling it, but got such an insulting offer from Love Luxury, that I decided to keep it. Though I don't really know what I will do with it, as I think it's a bit busy to try and wear it together with the 10-motif.

Any suggestions would be very welcome!

Thank you for starting this thread @EpiFanatic

My faithful dailies have not changed, it’s my 3 sweets bracelets that I live in 24/7. I’ve also been wearing the 2023 holiday pendant 24/7 since I got them since it’s to commemorate our baby’s birth. Other often worn pieces are my RG Perlee d’or bangle and RG pave Frivole earrings but I always take them off at home.

Bonus photo of the bracelets with messy baby stuff in the background— life hasn’t been glamorous at all but VCA makes me feel a little less hobo & worn down

Love this! As a mom myself I agree that I feel much more put together with jewellery on. Especially Vca. Same with nail polish. I can not leave house without my nails done. I can go out without make up or fancy clothes as long as I have my jewellery and nail polish!

Thank you my friend :hugs:@tenshix You are way too kind! You know I have made a gazillion mistakes to get to the point where I now kinda know what works best for me. I am still learningšŸ˜…
One thing I will never compromise on is only keeping pieces that I wear to death! If I can’t then I would rather regift or rehome them. I have enough Indian jewelry that look gorgeous but hardly see the light of the day because they are too heavy to be worn on an everyday basis. I will never ever get rid of them because of the memories and how much love I feel for those special pieces.
My entire objective of buying VCA pieces was to create a family of jewelry pieces that can be worn on a daily basis and I couldn’t be happier with what I have today.

I have no intention of ā€˜collecting’ because I am not a collector! So the number of jewelry pieces I own will always be small enough so I can rotate them and do justice to each of them ā™„ļø

You know how much I LOVE that about you @Prada Prince You are after my own heart! You wear the heck out of what you buy šŸ¤—

Okay, regarding the VA RG hammered pendant, I am in agreement with you that it eventually needs to go if you no longer reach out for it but I also balk at the idea of letting it go for peanuts (darn the resale market). Would you consider keeping it for a bit longer? I know you wear your 10-motif hammered YG necklace a lot but I love the idea of you pairing the hammered VA pendant in RG with your hammered 6-motif bracelet in RG. That’s a solid pair you can wear causally the days you don’t want to wear the 10-motif. The VA pendant is still discreet and can work for occasions where you just want to wear a piece that is low key.

Absolutely ditto on this! I took off my jewelry during the very newborn days since I didn’t want anything accidentally scratching up baby, and I also didn’t wear nail polish for so long since I cut down wearing polish while pregnant due to the chemical/fumes. When I got around to putting my jewelry back on and the first time I finally did a full set of nail polish manicure I felt so alive šŸ˜‚ Like wow, I’m human again

Thankful for the VCA necklaces and bracelets that don’t discriminate as much as my rings do while my body was fluctuating in weight and inflammation.

I love that you love and wear your pieces.

I agree that’s it’s so annoying to get lowballed and it’s definitely better to hang on to it. Maybe there is a place or time when you don’t feel as comfortable with a 10 motif and your trust single motif can be the answer.

Thank you both so much! Sometimes I feel self-conscious that I keep wearing the same pieces over and over again, but at the same time, if I love them that much, why shouldn't I, right?

I am definitely going to hold on to the VA pendant for now, and see what I do about it. If I happen to get my hands on the Ginza Edition pendant on this upcoming Japan trip, then I could potentially see a look where I layer the Ginza with the single VA pendant. But yes, in any case, I don't think I will ever get rid of it unless I am getting a good price for it.

Hi fellow VCA afflicted (I mean lovers)! It’s been a while since we’ve asked this question and VCA supply has been so spotty to put it mildly and with the new offerings, I’m curious which pieces people are reaching the most now.
For me it’s my sweet pave six motif bracelet, still my pave sweet Alhambra earrings and my new WG perlee clover ring which I actually wear 24/7, as allowed. Funny it’s the pave pieces that I wear the most. If I reach for stone pieces it’s my onyx or chalcedony WG five motifs. If I change earrings I wear the pave perlee studs. Barely wear my bangle bracelets because I don’t find them as comfortable. Too bad I didn’t have this vision 9 years ago. Could have saved a lot of money.
Would be glad to buy them and take them off your hands if you ever decide to sell

I don't want to derail the thread but I agree that the YG 10 motif looks great on you and that it makes the pendant much less necessary and hardly worn. Do you have a family member that you are close to that you could gift it to. I gave the exact same pendant to my daughter and she wears it all the time and loves it.

My most worn pieces are by far my rings and earrings. I don’t leave house for the day without a big ring and earrings. I also rotate through all my rings and earrings. It helps having pairs I like to wear together - like I am wearing my lucky butterfly earrings more now since I received the 2 butterfly ring.
I find rings and earrings are visible with all outfits in all seasons. Whereas necklaces and bracelets vary more.
Otherwise like @eternallove4bag i rotate through all my pieces. The piece I likely wear the least is my 20 motif. I only wear it doubled and I will not add another one since I don’t like the length and only love the one I have (RC).
