There were no Canard bags in store, but I was looking at the swatch and Canard is very, very dark, and I carried the swatch around to different lightings.
Looks like a lighter black (even when I placed my black leather glove next to it), except for the edges of the leather which are gorgeous dark blue, like the sides of the tassels you see in the pics here. I'd call it a midnight blue. I wonder how the color will fade, it might get bluer?
I was looking at the moto jacket thread. It might be similar to the navy jackets, which are very dark, although it is hard to say from just photos.
Oh, and the Tomate from the swatch looks very, very similar to Mandarin, maybe a shade or two lighter.

I've gone through all these gorgeous pictures, just drooling over outremer, canard & moutarde! Thanks to all who've posted pics! I am interested in the Sunday totes, but could they be carried on my shoulder? I need shoulder bags, not hand-held ones, because not only do I usually have my hands full carrying DD around along with various toys/sippy cups/blankies, but I'm also so scatterbrained that I would probably set down a handheld bag & forget where I put it. Also, I didn't see any Folders in the pics. Has that style been discontinued? I would LOVE to get a rggh outremer or canard folder!!
Just spoke to a sales at Selfridges London today, she goes to all the buyings in Paris. She said the Canard looks nice in the covered hardware (as the edges are slightly lighter and contrasts with the dark blue). She has also seen the rose gold hardware and said looks great but will be limited to certain colours.
Infact she is going next week to Paris again for the 2010 Winter collection buying!!!!!! EXCITING!

Hey, I am in London, too. Last time I went to Selfridges, I did not see any Canard City. Do you know when will it be sold there? Thanks.

I know what Outremer looks like IRL so looking at the other colors would tell me that the samples are right on. Olive looks just like my Vert Thyme GGH day bag color. I know that some members have said that VT doesn't have much yellow in it but mine does. Maybe it is the hardware of GGH that makes it look to have more yellow than ones with GSH. Sorbet in the sample picture looks deeper than I originally thought sorbet was and I like it being deep pink like that. Sahara is a richer beige also than the previous Sahara with much more yellow in it and Tomate looks less bright orange than I thought it was going to be which will be interesting to see IRL. Cyclade looks to be a deeper tempete. I am curious about Moutard....?? Also I am looking forward to seeing the click.....
