More neutral color...beige or black?

The Chanel beige is very neutral. I will carry my beige tote with anything and some goes for black. However I find I never use it in the winter because it is such a light color. If your thinking beige lambskin, you might not want to wear it with something black that might transfer color.

They're both very lovely, basic bags! The more "basic" one for you would depend on your wardrobe mix having said that, I do have a big soft spot for the beige clair!

I'm only thinking of the caviar...does the baby wipes apply for that leather as well or is it only a lambskin thing?

Black is classier in a conservative way, but beige is more elegant in a glamorous way. Between the two neutrals, I'd say beige would definitely turn more heads.

hrmm for me black is easier, if u wear beige and wear beige its way too dull, even with brown, whereas black with black still looks good!

Sue, black and beige are neutral colors. Both of them are also the ‘trademark’ colors of Chanel’s classic flap. However, I personally prefer black color since my outfits are multi-colored. Hence, a black bag will balance-out my look. On the other hand, if most of your clothing is in dark color, a beige bag will brighten up your overall appearance…

yep yep, on caviar, like magic! hehe... oh, just be gentle!

however, i'm not sure if its recommended on lambskin, since material is porous. it'll absorb the moisture which might lead to a stain.
