Thank you!! Yes sort of every day... not like out to walk the dog or anything but work/going out/taking the kids out/shopping etc. I have a few I'd rotate but OMG I don't know if I can rock this PLUS VCA!!

It's become my new dream/obsession ever since I saw the yellow diamond/white diamond halo combo at Tiffany's - I'd never really thought of yellow diamonds before Tiffany's gorgeous campaign and line... I walked by them one day and did this: Have been obsessed ever since! I'm sure you will have yours one day too (the prices are still pretty good at Tiffany's right now!)

How long will the custom job take?

THANK YOU! They said 6-8 weeks but then I might not get it until the fall ... we'll see... truthfully it'd be cheaper for me to fly to NY and wear it home than have it shipped to Canada! I might be going with DH or a friend to NY sometime this year... then again I'm pretty sure I will NOT have the patience for this!

In my opinion, the bezet acts like a "frame" around the diamond. This in my opinion makes it appear a touch smaller gives it a more enclosed feel. Whereas, the claw prongs will really showcase the ring.

Yeah I agree... that's a good way of thinking of it. I think it's just too much metal involved and you're right, it kind of encases it - so it must necessarily kind of take over a bit of the diamond to hold it intact. Just seeing the solestes sparkle with diamonds on diamonds made me love the claw all over!
