I appreciate all the feedback and support from everyone. I spoke with the owner and I am waiting for them to fully assess the damage. I plan to ask to be compensated for the value of the purse and seek reimbursement of the approx 704 dollars I paid for services. Let's see what happens. This is an established business in NYC and they are family owned and operated. I am trying to be optimistic about them making me whole and doing the right thing. Wish me luck, dears!
