I'm sure I replied to you but I don't see my post? Here I go again:

No trouble at all - was happy to have an excuse to check out these bags. No doubt you can tell I'm obsessed with all things "handbag"

Btw, I just got confirmation that my 2 Modalu Pippa bags sold already so I'm too late - otherwise I would have been allowed to pull them off the floor :( Oh well...I just think I'm going to have a much harder time buying the Pippa bag locally now.

I am bumping this thread. I just discovered this bag today. Am crushing seriously on the Erin bag. Would appreciate on any thoughts or feedback n this bag. The only thing I know is that it's from England. Anyone know know if it's available in the US? TIA :smile1:
I personally purchased the Erin structured tote in Caramel tan - I LOVE this bag. It was somewhat of an impulse buy which is huge for me as I'm not an impulsive shopper. I tend to do my research and mull over big purchases before I make them. I've been on the hunt for a classic work tote and I saw the bag displayed at counter as I was returning some shoes at Town Shoes (Toronto). Stunning. I knew almost instantly that I was going to buy it, however I wanted to see with my own eyes what the other colors available at the time were (black and claret red). The leather is soft and the bag has just the right amount of compartments; for some reason the magnetic flap at the front of the bag that opens up as a compartment sold me. Bought the bag three days later ($330 CAD tax included - for reference). The zippered compartment is perfect for storing valuables out of sight - wallet/phone/iPod etc. The straps are long enough to make it comfortable to wear on the shoulder. Two months later the bag is in perfect condition, no scratches or scuffs and I use it at least three to four times a week. I get stopped everywhere by women asking me where I got it. The only thing I will do is line the bag with a thin strip of cardboard and lining to prevent bag sag - just something I do with all my bags. I love it so much that I'm thinking of purchasing in another color! Will post pictures if anyone's interested.

I have had two of the Pippa bags and had to order them from England. Passed them on to my daughter and they have worn well. A nice product for the money.

I've got 3 'Pippa's' by Modalu: an oak mock croc, a black pebbled leather and a nude mock croc. They're really great bags and proper workhorses. I must admit I wasn't exactly struck on the Erin when it first came out, I found it initially too boxy but it is growing on me; especially the Air Force blue and claret!
They've released the 'Hemingway' now which is beautiful, too.
I love the Pippa because of all the organisation and it's a bag that looks great with whatever you're wearing - mine have come to the gym with me and school runs.
I do feel the price is a wee bit expensive but I guess that's down to the brand being linked to Pippa Middleton. They are very well made and do last - I've had mine since 2012.

That is a truly beautiful colour! What is it called? There have been some beautiful colour ways in the Pippa range, I still adore the mock croc oxblood which came out a few years ago in their AW collection.

I've been scaling down my handbag collection and have sold three of my Modalu Pippa's, I'll always keep my tan one, though.

Google tells me that the mother company went keel up and companies that bought the brands under the mother company weren't interested in purchasing Modalu. This is unofficial but makes sense. We'll see what happens, if somebody rescues the brand.
