The SAs at MK always make me feel guilty for returning. I actually went to a store 3hrs away to do a return. It wasn't just for that I was visiting my son at college and went to the mall near there....but at least no guilt trip
 
Nordstrom and Saks cannot come to Canada quick enough. I've tried 5 or so different MK locations, its the same thing everywhere. I've resorted to browsing and seeing the items I'm interested in and then ordering online.

tell me about it. We need options. My order online went south when my Visa debit refused to work!! The MK rep was super nice and tried to help, so did the manager.. but it wouldn't ... my bank was typical in it's help.. -none- lol so i ended up in a boutique instead.

I hate guilt trips. No one should be made to feel that way, your following policy so they should be professional about it, you'll likely be back anyways, being negative to customers on returns doesn't help build confidence in future purchases.
 
We are so lucky to have this forum, because we can order from most anywhere and have the listing checked first to make sure it is authentic. We can't lose! lol! I think it's great!

My visa debit does that sometimes too! I also hate how we miss out on all the promotions, like the one offered now in the US for the rewards card.. time to move!

IKWYM about being made to feel guilty about exchanges. I had a similar experience when I exchanged my Dark Dune Jet Set Crossbody because of wonky lettering. I haven't purchased since in that boutique.

That's how we're supposed to reward them for their lack of customer support skills! I do the same with everything. Never go again in that store, and I always tell all my friends about what happened.

I suppose you're not so interesting when they're not making a sale out of you. They have to realise that if you get shoddy customer support when something is wrong, you are much less likely to give them your business in the future!
I have to say I've also had some wonderful customer service in MK boutiques (Berlin in particular). Have enjoyed the buying experience and therefore made further purchases.

I'm sure it's about the specific people working in a store, not about the store itself. I'm pretty positive that most of the MK boutiques have wonderful customer service and what happens here and there are only exceptions. :smile1:
