Hi Ladies. I need your help. There is a lady who has been selling authentic bags on ebay for 14 years now, since the year 2000, and I have purchased some lovely authentic bags from her and would buy from her anytime. She emailed very upset about transaction and said it was nice doing business with me but she may be leaving ebay, I was so bummed because sellers like her need to stay! It is nice to have those we can count on for authentic bags only, and I really hate to see her go! I don't know if I am allowed to mention who she is, but anyhow, she has just had her account damaged by a buyer, who claimed this bag she purchased from her, is fake, falsely reported her to ebay, and is slamming her all over the internet.

This lady is very distraught and I told her not to worry , because her over 1000 positive feedbacks clearly out weigh any false neg, but she is just horrified that this happened to her, because she would never sell a fake. I think she is over reacting and I am trying to make her feel better and keep her account going for my own selfish reasons of that I would miss her! So I told her I could help her here on this forum, to have us authenticate this and then send her buyer here. I would normally put this in the authenticate this thread, but this needs more specific attention, so I started a new thread..

I say this bag is a totally authentic Michael Kors Austin bag. What say you? Don't you agree? I told her to send this buyer here to us so we can set her straight. I see nothing that indicates this bag to be anything less than authentic. I can only post four pics in each post, so here are the first four. The only thing odd about the bag, and she did put it in the listing, is that it used to be white and the bag was sprayed blue by a professional, which has no bearing on the authenticity of the bag. Many times white bags will stain and folks often do this to improve the appearance. It is not unusual at all and is actually a good idea to save a perfectly good bag. I am quite certain you will agree this bag is authentic. If am wrong, please tell me how and why.

Uhg, sorry the pics are so small. She had sent them to my ebay email and I don't know how to retrieve them! I emailed her and asked her to send them to my regular email address, so hang tight. I will get larger photos asap. Thanks!

Ok, here are some better pics she sent directly to my personal email.

Looks authentic to me. MK does make bags in Indonesia. If she decides to stay with Ebay, I would love to know her name so I can buy from her.
I just blocked her. She lost her old account and set up a new one. She wouldn't know an authentic bag if it bit her in the u no what! She doesn't sell and only has 4 FB. I will pm you.

I absolutely explained to Cynthia in my emails that I did not know the bag was painted until after the auction was finished. I also told her that I felt so bad and I told you to please send the bag back for a refund because of this and you told me that you wanted to keep it because what I was doing was a felony because the bag was not authenitc. I DID purchase the bag at an Estate sale..I dont understand why that is so unbelievable to you, I buy almost all my bags at Estate sales. I also explained that the tape was probably the person that painted it. The photos that you are showing are the same ones that I have shown. (I actually said the bag was probably Platinum as it has a shimmer to it). I also told you that it was an honest mistake that I did not realise the bag was painted and you said no, that the bag is FAKE. I wanted to see what the girls here on thepurseforum thought about the bag since I know in my heart the bag is Authentic..no matter if it was painted of not painted. So, because I made a mistake about that, you have decided to drag my name through the mud and tell me that all of my items are fake. I just wanted to see if others thought the same and make sure I am not crazy.

Here are some of the photos- please look at the hardware, the rivets, the buckle, the spray paint- the one that's gold underneath is the front pouch- that should not be able to be lifted!
First of all, she didn't start this post, I did. I am not her. I have bought many authentic bags from this seller over the years and I am also an authenticator on this forum. Even the photos you posted , indicate this to be an authentic Michael Kors Austin bag. Just because the bag was painted, doesn't mean it is fake. Many folks with stained white bags will take them to shoe makers and have them dyed to improve the appearance of the bag. It is done all the time. Unless you physically sent the bag to Michael Kors in New York City, any letter from a store clerk is invalid. She charged appropriately for the condition of the bag if you only paid 69.00!!! She clearly indicated there were silver marks on it!! Can't you read!! ??? So far your pics are only helping her case. By all means, carry on! This bag retailed for 398.00 when new. 69.00 is a steal for a leather Michael Kors Austin bag! I am sure even though she did not know it was painted, that she saw it was not perfect and priced it appropriately. This bag is authentic! This seller has been selling authentic bags only for 14 years! All of the bags I bought from her are totally authentic and so are all the ones she has listed now and in her completed listings. Your accusations are WRONG and you need to stop discrediting this awesome seller.

The only thing I will say that I was "not honest about" was that the bag was painted BUT I SWEAR I HAD NO IDEA that it was painted until after she received it and I apologized over & over and over again about it....AGAIN, I explained to her that I had no idea that it was. After that was known I said to please send it back for a full refund. What are the lies I am telling? I have been nothing but kind and tried to fix the situation several times. The last thing that I wanted was any trouble with my account or others thinking I sell fakes. I dont understand why this person is out to get me. I'm at a loss. The only reason I turned to thepurseforum was because I wanted someone else and others to tell me that this bag was Authentic so at least I know for my own peace of mind.
