I haven’t posted here in a while but looking for some advice. I have a WG JUC and white VCA Alhambra with chalcedony and I’m looking to add color to my stack. Just not sure which would look best for everyday wear. i am looking to purchase the RG Love bracelet with 4 diamonds to add but not sure if either rosegold or yellow gold would match
Another option if neither go with the VCA is to wear it on my other hand (or even sell it and get the VCA MOP in yellow gold)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is a photo of the rosegold Cartier with my stack.
thanks

I think the rose gold looks beautiful against your skin tone!

The main thing on RG vs YG when stacking with WG pieces, is that the yellow gold will definitely contrast a lot more against the white gold. So if you like that contrasted look, or if you want your pieces to show up more vibrantly, maybe go with the yellow gold. If you want something not as obvious or "blingy", maybe the rose gold is more for you.

Have you tried a yellow gold bracelet? If so, do you have any photos?

Thanks so much for your response.
I will go back to Cartier to try on the YG but do you think the blue/grey chalcedony stone of the van cleef goes with the RG or should I try to sell it?

With your skin tone, I prefer either RG or YG. I think it looks richer. Personally, I prefer RG because it is not as flashy and has a nice warm glow. It also feels more youthful and modern to me at the moment.

All my pieces are RG right now, and RG looks wonderful on you!

Regarding the blue/grey chalcedony stone of the Van Cleef question that you asked, I’m not a fan of it personally.

I would try to sell it, but also I’m not a VCA fan at all.

Personally I don’t think the chalcedony goes with the RG just because the chalcedony is such a cool-toned piece. It has white gold and the stone itself has cool colors. So the VCA bracelet is completely cool while the Cartier love in RG or YG is completely warm. Contrasting yes and that is a look for sure. But complementary? :huh:Depends on personal preference .

However, for the chalcedony VCA, I think that’s something you need to be ready to let go in order to sell it.
Maybe your tastes have changed or you like something more than the chalcedony but that is your call.
If you’re uncertain about selling it atm, it’s probably best to wait and think about it a bit before making a decision.

I love mixing golds, I think it’s fun and prevents looks from getting a little stale.
Though rose gold pink-ness varies from brand to brand.
Here are my daily pieces:

-YG love bracelet
-WG engagement with Tiffany YG stopper (not my wedding band, its too loose and needs to be resized)
- RG Tiffany stacked with WG half eternity diamonds with RG Chanel eternity diamonds

I also have a RG Bvlgari that I stack with a WG JUC ring. No photo atm but I think it looks great!
