Mixing Hardware

I never mix hardwares as far as accessories goes, that's a no no for me. I am also trying my best to keep the hardware on my clothes (jeans button etc.) to match with my accessories. Someday it's unavoidable, but i put in my best effort in covering it (scarf, belt, long sweater etc.) ^^

My wedding set is platinum, so I typically wear only platinum/white gold/silver jewelry - but I like LV bags... which typically only have gold hardware. So I've had to get over my hang up of not wanting to mix metals. I've actually been trying to embrace it as of late, and just bought a Henri Bendel bracelet that was silver - but has gold details on it. ;)

I'm not sure if anyone if my bags have "ALOT" of hardware but I tend to wear platinum (engagement ring) and white gold or silver jewelry often. I also wear gold some days. I am careful to match my watch/necklace/earrings but not my bags.

Ok I see. But if you had a bag with brass on it would it clash to you with your silver or white gold accessories?

I have a two tone Michelle deco diamond watch - mixing silver and gold! It looks great.

That's my point exactly. I noticed this today as I was getting dressed and I was like I'm not going to change bags but I don't want to change outfits either. Hmmmm.

I try to match my metals. My main pieces are two toned though. Wedding and engagement ring is platinum and gold as is my Omega constellation. Then I can match my bags as needed to the other accessories use my stainless tag or gold Phillip stein.

All my jewelry is platinum, white gold or silver as it goes better with my skin tone. Yellow gold looks awful on me. I don't worry too much of the hardware on the bag matching what jewelry I'm wearing.

My wedding ring is white gold and I have a band on both sides that are yellow gold. My anniversary past present & future ring is white gold, my diamond fashion ring is white gold, both of my diamond hoops are yellow gold and my pandora bracelet is yellow gold! Being that my skin is very sensitive to metals I wear these everyday! The mixture doesn't bother me at all.

My heirloom ring is in white gold, my rolex is in pink gold(two tone) and my lv hardwares are golden. I know I might look crazy but I am ok with that combo.
