Mix and match brands

Bumping this.

I'm currently eyeing a Jacquemus Le Bambino Moyen from the La Montagne line and thought about throwing a Hermes Twilly or LV Bandeau on the top handle. I think as long as the bandeau isn't super-garish I think it could work (but I am also thinking the minimal logo-ing on Jacquemus means even a LV Monogram could work).

I use different brand twillies on my metis handle in addition to the usual LV ones...Hermes, Gucci (only the doremon one so far) & Longchamp (not showing the full words of course lol)...But I do feel wierd using an LV charm on a non LV bag.... But to each their own as long as you like it, that's the main thing who cares what other ppl thinks? These accessories are not cheap...

I mix brands all the time. Mainly Prada with my LV. Years ago, I had a Chanel wallet with some LV slgs. But now it's just Prada with my LV slgs. I don't like everything to be matchy matchy, imo. I just find that boring (no offense to people that do like it). I'll even mix epi with monogram as well.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with mixing brands at all. I always try to buy LV charms and bandeaus that don’t scream LV so I can use them on other bags too. Here is a LV charm on a Coach bag this past Valentines Day — to me, the perfect pairing on VDay.

Thanks — they have many great leather bags. I never liked logo bags either but somehow found myself liking monogram bags after buying damier bags for years.
