I can't remember who asked, but I've only seen one person wearing a piece from this collection. I also dont remember who commented about the amount of money spent but I think I got carried away with the thrill of the hunt and spent way too much money. I'm considering returning one of my blouses, one blanket (I didn't realize they were small baby blankets), the rain boots (they're really heavy and kind of hard to walk in), and the tote bag (it might be too big).

The same day I wore out my sweater, I saw a girl wearing the blue zigzag dress! She wore it with black leggings. I discreetly (i hope) took a pic and will share it when I get home tonight.

So far I only saw one lady wearing the black paneled dress at a local grocery while I was wearing the blue maxi dress with matching long blue cardi. We both complimented each other's dress.

I'm also confused about that romper, looks like sleepwear to me with that thin material and how short it is.

I haven't seen any mod shots of this. Are you volunteering? :nuts: I saw it at my store, and it was sooooooo soft.

I haven't seen anyone out and about w/the Missoni items, aside from the rainboots once.

I took inventory and I spent over $600! So I returned a lot of stuff. I kept the blue cardigan, the sweater coat, and the colore cardigan (which runs a little short, so I went up to a size S). I also still have the laptop sleeve, Weekender, and colore valet. Oh, and the colore tote. And the infinity scarf and medium makeup bag. :graucho: All that stuff still totals to about $350. I kept one of the bowls too. Le sigh.

Yay or Nay?

I'm also thinking of keeping this:

I personally LOVE this sweater! Looks a little big on you, but I prefer that look.

I'm perplexed too. I've only seen the infinity scarf. That's it. Maybe the weather hasn't been cold enough? Or perhaps stuff sold out quickly and the locals don't want to pay eBay prices? It's odd. But now you all have me thinking about the negative association people might have due to the whole Missoni for Target fiasco. I can see people holding off until all of the hoopla dies down.

i don't have much in the way of missoni clothing (just one colore cardigan, b/w pullover, and a scarf). most of the stuff i bought were accessories or decorative/housewares. i haven't worn the scarf at all (in fact, it still has the tags on) and the pullover doesn't have the telltale zigzags, so it doesn't scream missoni. i think for me, it's not the negative association of missoni madness. it's more that, these items are soooo recognizable! especially to people like us whose eyes are bleeding from looking at all the pictures a thousand times per day! lol. i'm thinking i might mix my pieces into my wardrobe next year, when people's memories have dimmed and are already moving onto the next thing.

this is the one darned thing that keeps alluding me -- and I refuse to pay 2x as much on ebay!!

it does look good on you -- love this sweater!

LOL. that's what i thought, but just had to ask! although the romper is cute, i'm a little too clumsy to be able to execute this gracefully, so i guess it's not for me. :shame:

the totes are huge

I had the pink zigzag one, and then found the brown one which I like better because of the front pocket, not sure if I am keeping that one either and my dd keeps asking for it so she might get it

the only items I have is tote, the infinity scarf and a vest that I purchased off ebay

I am not hunting down anymore too time consuming & frustrating & costly, even time I am in Target looking for Missoni I find something else, like a vacuum, clock, food items...it's better to just stay away and be happy with what I have

heard that Oct. 23 they are going to markdown the collection, so that might be a good time to start looking again if they have anything left
