I know this thread is about her style but I always wonder what her opinion is about Putin and the way Russia operates in east Ukraine

One would think that in deference to the issues in the Ukraine and what happened with the Malaysia (MH-17) flight, that these gals would show a bit of restraint and not be so ostentatious. I for one, would like to see a little less of the lot of them; maybe they should consider doing some work for their country-people (like Natalia Vodianova) instead of just parading around with their high-priced designer goods and going to parties. My opinion of course ..

Totally agree! Especially because she likes to promote Russian fashion/designers. It would be better if she did some work for the poverty in her own country instead of spending $$$ on clothes and her appearance.

If her answer to the whole Pu$$y Riot fiasco is anything to go by, she's probably pleased with Putin. She said something about how Russia needed a leader that should be feared, blah blah blah, she sounded very ignorant by the whole thing.Her father is/was a Senator and she comes from a very wealthy family, so i'd be surprised if she didn't like Putin to be honest. People who are born and live with such extreme wealth experience a different reality than the rest of us.

Well, all I can say is that all the economic sanctions (especially against Putin's cronies) will likely affect her then. Maybe then, she will realize that many of her countrymen & women DO NOT have a lifestyle even remotely similar to hers. Kind of doubt that it will make her humble though ..
