Most people would opt to stay inside on a day like this, but Miranda Kerr was on a very important mission.

The 30-year-old model didn't let a little - or rather, a lot of snow get in her way as she headed to her beauty salon session in blustery New York on Friday.

Foul weather aside, Miranda was runway chic in an all-black designer outfit that consisted of a clingy maxi dress with sheer appeal and flaring hem, along with a leather fringed jacket and warming scarf.

I love her outfit! She looks great! Very comfy and put together.

Also, sunglasses protect her sensitive eyes (she's had them burned at photo shoots twice!) from the flashing lights of paparazzi. At night the lights will be even more blinding than during the day, because of the contrast with the dark sky. Hope that clears things up for you!

I agree. I don't think this is too dressed for the salon at all. She looks chic yet comfy!

I agree also love her outfit!. I also think it is an appropriate outfit to casually go out. I think it is fair that she gets photographed a lot and I would want to look polished even if it is just to go to the hairdressers.

^ Dress up when going to a salon, wear sunglasses at night? I used to afore her style but now I think she is too "polished" and obviously everything is staged.

Gee, I don't even get photographed and yet I'm more dressed up then this when I go to my salon to get my hair done lol. IMO, I think it's always better to be overdressed then underdressed, especially if your going to be photographed lots like she would be....

I'm glad you all like the outfit as well! Dannii I completely agree with this!

Geez, some people complain when celebrities are not dressed to the nines in public but when someone like Miranda do dress appropriately and always make an effort when out in public, still there are complaints. You just can't make everyone happy. :nogood:
