From the interviews I've seen him do, he doesn't strike me as the type of person who would actively court the paps. My guess is they happen to know where/when to find him based on their experiences with Miranda. Also, when an actor does a Broadway show, their schedules are pretty routine, making them easily found by papz. There were pictures of Jessica Chastain daily when she was on Broadway earlier this year.
You're a teenager though; 16 years is almost your lifetime.
What makes an age difference significant is life experience, emotional maturity etc and there's very little difference, if any, between the 30s and 40s when it comes to those sorts of things.
She's only 30, he is 46. I am her age and can't imagine myself dating a 46 year old nor do I know a single 30 year old woman who is doing it, so I'd say it's pretty unusual. We all know if he was a 46 year old mechanic making an average salary she wouldn't look at him twice and we wouldn't be having this conversation.No. She's in her 30s, he's in his 40s. Doesn't seem significant at all to me.
Doesn't help that not only is he older than her (fine, whatever) but he's a douche. A mega-douche.

There were a couple of stories in the Sydney papers over the weekend confirming that they are dating. Andrew Hornery from the Sydney Morning Herald has good connections in the business world (where most of the whispers about Packer were coming from) and he says yes they are dating, but very cautiously.

No matter how many times I assured people we had the story independently verified beyond the pages of Woman’s Day, which had been pursuing a tip for more than a week and eventually rattled enough cages for me to hear about it, people simply refused to believe it could be true.
Not even a lack of denial from either party involved, despite them having the opportunity to do so, was enough to silence the cynics who were desperate to voice their opinions.

‘‘He’s punching well above his weight,’’ was the reaction from more than one chap, while several women chimed in: ‘‘Why is she going after him instead of Orlando?’’

Sure, next to Kerr, Packer – 16 years her senior and about six times her size even with the lap-band – is probably no oil painting in many people’s eyes but he is clearly still considered something of a catch among some women.
But this is not the first coupling of what so many people evidently see as a pair of mis-matched love birds.

And what about Mary-Kate Olsen, one half of the celebrity sisters known as the Olsen Twins? At 26 she wound up in a relationship with Frenchman Olivier Sarkozy, the 43-year-old half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy. True story.

Closer to home, when John ‘‘Aussie’’ Symond started dating Patrick Keating’s glamorous ex-wife Amber, it was the talk of dinner parties across Sydney; a year later she has moved with her kids to his $60 million harbourside mansion.
And really, what more is there to say about Demi Moore marrying Ashton Kutcher? Far be it from me to suggest to either party ‘‘we could have told you so!’’
Not so for Woody Allen, who has managed to remain married to his former step-daughter Soon-Yi after their affair brought an end to his 12-year relationship with her adopted mother, Mia Farrow,
in 1992.
Allen has maintained he has no idea why the relationship has caused so much controversy. Despite their 35-year age difference, the couple are still together after marrying in 1997, with two adopted daughters of their own.
But back to James and Miranda, a union dubbed MiraCker this week, along with PacKerr .
In the three months since his second marriage to Erica Packer came to an end in a flurry of headlines, Packer has been quietly linked to a string of beauties around the world, several of whom vehemently denied having relationships with him when PS started following the trail.
One well-known Australian media identity now working overseas laughed off the suggestion she had been seeing Packer when PS called recently.
Without any smoking gun to suggest she was not telling me the truth, she will remain nameless ... for now.
They say love is blind, but sources who PS spoke with this week say it is way too early to start dropping the ‘‘L word’’ around the Kerr and Packer relationship. Who knows – it could be a flash in the pan, or perhaps, despite all the sceptics, it will turn into something lasting.
