Mint quartz and prasiolite jewelry have lost their sparkle

I had this with a Judith Ripka silver and 18kt gold ring with a prasiolite. There was such an intricate basket holding the stone that no matter what I used to clean it moisture would get trapped in it and even using a dryer didn't help. When I brought it to Ripka they send they would be happy to remove the stone to clean it for me,,,seems kind of crazy to have to do that. Its a shame because I love the stone originally. I will try the lavender soap, I do have some.

My Ripka pendant also has a basket setting, but even though I rinsed it thoroughly in water, by letting it dry upright and slightly slanted (leaning against something else) it ended up drying thoroughly - took a while though.
