I saw the platinum one today, it is also very nice. It was making my choose harder. Do you wear the earrings often?

I don't wear the open heart earrings often. Once or twice a year. I own around 10 pairs of Tiffany earrings: pearls, diamonds, RG and YG but I wear my non Tiffany diamond studs 95% of the time.

I have a variety of Tiffany earrings, but I also wear my nonbranded studs the most often. Out of my Tiffany earrings, I get the most wear out of my silver notes drop earrings, Peretti gold quadifolio and Frank Gehry white gold/diamond axis earrings.

Thanks! I originally looked into non branded stud earrings but quotes where all around 11,000. And that is more than I can do right now.

Can I ask you, since you have more jewelry shopping experience? I went to the store today, and I am more confused. I have a budget of 3000 per tax. Would you get the mesh earrings and either a heart or dbty or a larger dbty single or three. Or something I didn't think of.
For reference I own one gold piece of tiffany and a bunch of silver and then all non branded yellow, white and platnuim jewelry.

Imho you are best getting 1 big piece vs 2 smaller pieces. I would either get the single stone DBTY (assuming you do not own a solitare) or the Victoria pendant. Although the Victoria is a little higher than your budget, it is really beautiful and is a trademark Tiffany design. Technically no other jeweler is allowed to make that design. The DBTY is also a classic TIffany, but other designers have similar items. You cannot go wrong with either.

Thanks I think that may be what is do: get the best Dby in my price range. Do you think I am better off getting non branded? I just feel that with branded I know what I am getting and don't need to worry about trust factor.

Get the Tiffany DBTY. I have non branded ones but after I purchased my first Tiffany DBTY, there is no looking back. I have several DBTYs now and they are so well made, the bezels and the chains are perfect.

Thanks, that makes me feel better. This is literally the first jewelry purchase I will ever make myself so I needed some advice. That's what I will do. thank you!
