The problem with the mini is, it is too mini. For €6000 it is a crazy luxury / indulgence. I bought one online and when it arrived I was horrified to find a mini mini mini me, lightweight and insubstantial. I’d rather get the 28.

Honestly, I would be worried about a yellow canvas strap. It will inevitably get grungy and you can’t change it. One mishap with a ketchup bottle and the bag is done.

You are right about the canvas strap. It’s almost Hermes doesn’t care about its customers. Let’s flog them what they crave because we don’t have to please them. And see the strap onto the bag so they can’t change it. We don’t care how they feel. LOL
its most peculiar-on my reg size Jypsiere (31) the strap unclips..to me it would be logical to do so on the mini and think of all the extra revenue they'd make from people buying different straps!
I actually consider it a real design flaw tbh.
It seems like people are scared not to buy whatever they're offered, even if they don't like it. For this kind of money though, one really should love absolutely EVERYTHING about the bag they are purchasing.
In this case, while I love the bag and love yellow, I agree that the canvas strap makes it less desirable for that price range.
It is a tiny bag. It measures about 23cm wide, and because of the pyramid shape structure, you have to discount the top half of the bag for anything tall. So, instead of getting 17cm space (height), you get about 13cm. Just remember that. And for over USD9000 for basically a pochette on strap? I wouldn’t do it.
