I know that the mini jypsiere was introduced last year and when I was offered this bag, I initially said no but felt this could be a perfect everyday bag as I am wearing mostly cross body bags lately. What do you think of the color and this style?

You are absolutely right, Jypsiere is a perfect everyday bag. I don't know about mini but I am wearing my 37 every day, though it's very big. I think mini is even more suitable for every day. I like that colour! I have B35 is Soleil that is very pale yellow and I do not have any problems with any tone of yellow. Enjoy your new Jypcy!
I might be biased, as I wear my Lime Mini Lindy almost to death whenever I can! But yes! I think it can definitely work as an everyday bag if you wanted. It's always nice to have a lil drop of sunshine in one's outfit...

Thank you! It certainly is not a bright yellow. The only thing about it that bothers me is the canvas strap.
Surprisingly, the canvas strap bothers me as well. I am lucky to have leather strap on my Jypsiere and I use it for my Kelly and Kelly shoulder as all three are in Alezan.
What bothers me is that the canvas strap makes it look like a cheap bag especially for the price I paid. It is close to the price of a Birkin or Kelly. I also worry about it getting dirty and fraying with use. On top of all of this, it is not detachable. At least, I would have changed it to a leather strap.
I don't have a bag with canvas strap, but also have not seen much complaint about Evelyne tpm fraying over time. Another new design, Geta (mostly made in chevre), also comes with wide canvas strap that does not detach. It leads me to believe the canvas strap must be durable.
It seems a little silly on Hermès part that they did'nt make the strap detatchable on the Mini J..

I feel like jypsiere is either you-love-it-or-you-hate-it kind of bag (whether it's because of the design, how easy/hard to open, size or some other reason).
As for the color, I am very particular about yellow (i hate pastel yellow) and while it can be a hard color to pull off, Sun is one of the most beautiful vibrant colors Hermes has produced thus far.

Honestly Hermes just doesn’t really make the most of straps. I mean think about the fact that they could be making bank charging thousands for Kelly straps in a longer length but they ignore that too.
