Mini Gate!

I’m 5’2” and I’m used to a longer crossbody from Chanel. I also am pretty busty so I joked to my DH it looks like a b**b holder on me lol, I love the bag but have to get used to a shorter crossbody or I need to shorten the strap and wear as a shoulder bag

I'm rather sick of heavy bags at the moment so I appreciate this bag though I haven't been using it regularly.
B**b holder is rather relatable. I'm busty for Asian standards but no problems with short crossbody either.
I carry it rather close to the b**bs lol

And, Swanky, I have no boob issues because mine are so small. Three lumpectomies will do that to you, and I didn't have much to speak of to begin with.

What can everyone fit in their bag? I’ve been debating getting a new mini vs preloved small gate. Although I’m not petite, the small feels a tad too big (I reach for my puzzle if I need more space), but the mini also feels a bit too small? I usually don’t carry much so I think I can swing it, unsure if my iPhone pro max will fit though. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

The closest boutique is a few hours away and I likely won’t make it soon so was planning on ordering online.

Samsung flip phone
Can probably squeeze in a pack of wet tissues if needed.
I don't drive but definitely enough space for key cars.

I have the small and I think it definitely fits a lot less than the puzzle due to the shape. I’m petite though and I like the small shape. I wear I like how it sits better more comfortably with the jacquard strap as cross body and as a shoulder bag. I have the pebbled leather version in black and wear it out when it’s pouring rain and it’s fine (the soft leather of the puzzle temporarily stains when wet which makes me nervous!) It’s my most durable Loewe bag so I have used it the most actually compared to all of my other bags.

Oh I had no idea it fits less than the puzzle! This is why it helps to see/try on in person. I assumed it had similar capacity to the puzzle. That’s really great to know how durable and useful it is. It is such a beautiful bag. I didn’t know the strap could be changed to the new jacquard strap - one of my worries was the strap would sit too low on me even though I’m 5’9. I didn’t buy a gate before because both mini and small straps seemed a bit long. It’s helpful to know there are strap hacks if I go with the small.

I might just make a trip out of going to the boutique now and decide that way. I try and only buy bags I’ve seen in person / tried on. Thanks so much!

What's the Max measurement? I'll look/measure.
It fits more to me than say a WOC, as it's deeper front to back and about the same width. My regular iPhone fits easily with my chunky key fob, a comb, several lipgloss/lip balms and my $/cards.

Also, re: earlier comments about changing strap. I haven't pursued it, but mine certainly looks like it's removable, hence interchangeable.

Thank you for sharing what fits! I don’t have a WOC but I have a BV cassette which doesn’t hold much either so I’m used to only carrying a few items. Thanks for testing it out for us!! The iPhone pro max I have is via Google: height of 6.33” (160.8 mm), width of 3.07” (78.1 mm), depth of .29” (7.4 mm).

Thanks for the perspective on the small. I’ve definitely seen it before as I’ve visited the boutique or Neimans over the years but never really paid attention to it until they changed the strap. I didn’t think I was a guitar strap style person but it’s really grown in me! If I visit a store before then I’ll share in this thread!

Lol removing the case might work. I’m willing to give my husband my pro max, he needs a new phone so I might get a smaller one. It’s funny how it doesn’t fit many smaller bags for those of us who don’t carry much.
