Mini Flap w/ Top Handle Club!

When photos of this bag first came out, I felt like I had to have it because I love the fact that it is a mini, has a top handle and that it comes in caviar. However, upon finding out that the strap is not removable, I started having a change of heart. I would like to have the option of carrying this bag by the top handle and not having the strap dangling down as I carry it. Even though you can tuck the chain inside the bag, it would take up space, and I don't feel like space should be further compromised in a mini bag. Plus, I already have a square and rectangular mini, so if I want to just carry it on my shoulder, I already have mini bags that serve the same purpose and essentially have the same look. I think a Coco Handle would better suit my needs, but if they release this bag again with a detachable strap, I may consider it since I really do love the rectangular mini (even though I don't really need another one, lol).
I don’t like it. The handle looks too big for the bag and overall I don’t think it adds anything to it. I wish they would bring back regular mini bags in caviar.
I'm not sure about this bag. They came out with a bag like this already in the past. I decided not to reserve one, but scared of fomo... lol. I just got a cocohandle small last week. I agree with the others where I wish the strap was removable.. knowing me though.. I might want one once I see others have it.
Initially I was “eh” about it. The more pictures I see the more I’m a definite “NO”. Not sure why Chanel felt the need to throw a handle on the perfectly nice silhouette of a mini.
It is a repeated model actually. I love it. A big YES.. the Top handle is a great option when I am wearing a bulking winter coat with fur hoody. It is annoying to do crossbody once a lot going on at my outfit lol.
True point about crossbody with bulky coats. Much easy with breezy spring/summer clothes. Was the previous model popular?
I wish the strap was detachable, or at least able to be tucked into the bag.
