They call it “putting in an order” but what it really is is more of a reservation system of the stock they ordered at podium and can see incoming. Their iPads tell them that X number of Y item is on the way and then they put reservations against that X number. For popular items, they tend to put more orders in than the number of items they are receiving because typically some people back out but that also means that just having “an order” in doesn’t guarantee allotment.

I texted her a photo of it. Fingers crossed it comes in. The stock in my local store is usually a bit depressing. A lot of the new items don't come in until later in the season if at all. Color choices are limited.

Totally agree. While the bracelet is lovely, I'm hoping for solid colors as well.
The mechanism is definitely a bit tricky. You have to squeeze the bracelet together and swing open the Kelly closure. Took me awhile to get the hang of it too!
