Oooo - very interesting. :thinkin: Have some questions: Please explain what nappa rame is...what does the rame part signify? What are the dimensions of the mini cabat? Do you have a medium cabat (in any color) that you can picture next to the mini for size comparison? TIA.

Nice!! So, there are copper rame and tea rame? I wonder if Rame(=copper) in the name explains the leather treatment like Ossidato(=oxidized) does?

Oh, jburgh, here's doloresmia's great post on mini and medium cabats. The pics are not next to each other but show the size comparison very well.

All: You are all most welcome! As soon as it arrived, I immediately took it away from my co-worker and took as many pictures as I could.

Kelly8: No news on Cobalt yet, but Cruise is slowly starting to arrive. I will follow up ASAP.

Wendigo, Kassandra: We just received our buy books so I will check what accessories were bought in Tea.

Annie9999: The US only bought 2 units of the Mini Cabat in Nappa Rame (Hawaii is the only state to receive them) - the color of this bag is called Tea and the inside interior pouch is not Noce in Nappa Umbira, it is the same color as the bag, Tea in Nappa Rame.

*I know some people might take to this - what's new about this Cabat is that the inside interior pouch now comes with a 'dust bag cover' to protect the pouch and plaque (it's about time).

Jburgh: I don't exactly know the specifics on what Nappa Rame is as we did not receive our merchandising manuals that explain each type of material used for the collection... As soon as I get clarification of what Nappa Rame is exactly, you will all be the first to know.

:smile1:

Thanks Mid-!

OK now, everybody all together: jburgh, why dontcha' use the darn search feature! Ha ha, sorry :blushing:

"Rame" means "copper" in Italian. Perhaps everyone knew that? The handles are Tea, the body of the bag is a combination of tea and copper (rame) IIRC.

I saw this in Medium size today. It's even more gorgeous in person! The color is very tonal and has a wonderful sense of "depth", emphasizing the natural texture of the weave. Cost of the medium is almost 10k USD.

Hope that helps.
