Happy retirement to me from dear hubby. So in love with my new Baignoire!
Looks so stunning on you. Enjoy your retirement.
Is this the mini or the small Baignoire? I have been going back and forth for the mini Baignoire but am afraid that I may need my reading glasses to see the time. It looks so gorgeous. Do you find it hard to see the time on a mini Baignoire?

Hi, did you had to wait to get this piece? i heard there is a waitlist for it here in US.
I think my timing was just lucky. my Vegas boutique had one rose gold in stock in my size and my SA suggested I look at it. I didn’t have a watch on my radar at all, but I loved the look of this and mainly the bangle style. A few days before my visit I asked to look at the yellow version as well and she had to scour the US boutiques finding it. I ended up with the rose gold. She said the yellow gold one would sell quickly as it is in demand—more so than the rose gold.

Thanks. I am loving it. (Both my retirement and the Baignoire!)
This is the mini, size 16. It runs one size smaller than Love bracelets, in which I wear a 17.
To be honest, I do find it a bit difficult to read. Not so much because it is small, but due to the shape and placement of the numbers and that the short and long hands are only slightly different in length. I am getting used to it, but for me it is more of a jewelry piece. Maybe the larger one is easier to read at a glance.

You are right. It is a beautiful piece of jewelry. Thanks for your reply and enjoy it in good health.

I’m on the waitlist for YG. It sucks cause I will end up paying after the increase. Idk I wait and see how much the increase will be and that will be the deciding factor.

In the price increase thread, @cwhit said it's increasing from $12,900 US to $14,700. That is CRAZY.

I was on a waitlist with my local US store for months, I never heard anything so one day last Nov/Dec-ish I went to check and they said they don't do waitlist anymore and I'd have to put a deposit down if I wanted it. This is just my experience from going to the store and talking with random SAs each time. I don't have a designated SA so I'm not sure if that'd be a better experience. When I went to Asia, I visited at the beginning of my trip and the store did not have it; the SA kindly ordered it for me to see and it came within days (I did not even ask her to do that! I had to come back for another reason and she had it there for me..!). Sadly I passed it up and regretting it now

I could use some help. I purchased a love bracelet in store last week and on a whim tried on the mini baignoire before I left. I really liked it. It felt feminine and elegant, but also substantial and eye catching. With the upcoming price increase I feel pressure to make the purchase quickly even though I hadn’t been planning on it. I’m trying to rationalize my way in or out of it! So, what would you do? IMG_8311.webpIMG_8333.webp

It looks lovely on you.
I bought mine for all the reasons you stated, except I didn’t know about the upcoming price increase.
My SA did inform me of the scarcity of which I wasn’t aware, so if you love it—and it sounds like you do—get it. I have absolutely no regrets. I even sleep with mine, it’s that comfortable.
I also love that it can be stacked but looks beautiful on its own, both for casual or dressier occasions.

When I pick which jewelry to purchase next, there are few things I consider but the most important question I ask myself is if will I get to wear this often. The answer to that is yes based on my lifestyle and personal style. I almost went for the tank louis but didn’t because I know I will find it difficult to dress up but the Baignoire definitely for me is more versatile.

It looks beautiful on you. Honestly, if money is not an issue and you are absolutely in love with it, I would say get it.

Do you have an empty wrist to wear it on or do you plan to stack it? I think it will get really scratched up if you stack it, maybe you don't mind that. I went for the tank louis instead of baignoire since I felt it was more casual but I think about the baignoire all the time. I vote for getting it if you will wear it often since you will regret it once it increases ~$2k.

Got mine (YG size 15) in early March. I had to put a deposit down at an authorized dealer late last year and it finally arrived. It’s surprisingly heavy in a good way and beautifully made! I wouldn’t stack it with other bangles unless you don’t mind it getting dinged up a bit.

So gorgeous on you with your stack. Very elegant.
I am on the fence trying to decide to get it or not. I was all set to get the VCA 10 motif guilloche necklace but with all the tarnishing drama that was going on, I am deciding whether to go ahead with the VCA purchase or get the Baignoire yg bangle instead.

Aside from the tarnishing drama (which is quite concerning but hopefully a rare occurrence for VCA?) I don’t know how difficult the 10-motif guilloche necklace is to obtain, but the Baignoire bangle is quite difficult to get, so I would probably add that one to my collection first, if I had the chance. Also because there are rumors of a potentially significant price increase on that style (and others) in the coming days/weeks … I’m not familiar with VCA’s price increase schedule/item availability/etc., but now seems like a good time to buy any Cartier pieces on our wishlists to potentially “save” some money by buying at the current price … and then perhaps applying that “savings” to future wishlist items (girl math, lol)! 😂
